Good afternoon everyone,
Summer weather is here, humid and quite warm. Today is mostly cloudy with an east breeze flowing gently. It feels like it might rain.
The gardens are doing well. I picked the first peas on Saturday evening, and the ground was still spongy wet from the rain we received the evening before. Instead of wearing boots I took my shoes off and stepped in barefooted. Eating fresh peas and green onions for lunch brought back memories of summertime during childhood years.
Some of the church sewing ladies spent a day cutting and sewing together blocks for comfort tops. They had four sewing machines humming smoothly while the others were cutting.

¼ tsp black pepper
Mix and serve on barbecued hamburgers or other sandwiches. Recipe taken from “My Flavorite Blends” cookbook.
