Good Afternoon Everyone,
The sun rose as a blazing yellow ball, after the sky had glowed with a reddish pink color. Fog hovered over the lowlands, and the treetops were visible above the fog. A little while later the yellow rays of the sun shone over the green fields, through the leaves of the black walnut tree, creating a greenish yellow hue across the yard. Evenly spaced, the shadows of the fence posts lay slanted across the lawn. It was a beautiful beginning to a new day. The air was a bit cooler and very pleasant, giving us a hint of the cool fall weather that is coming.
The sweet corn is done. Potatoes are ready to dig. Tomatoes are ripening and peaches are still available. Lots of produce and much to be thankful for.
It has been a while since we’ve had our last good rain, and the soil is getting dry.
It is now Wednesday, and we have received a nice rain. We are so thankful for it.

1½ cups squash-cubed
1½ cups potatoes-cubed

Cover with sliced tomatoes.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic salt, farm dust seasoning or seasonings of your choice. Cook until potatoes are done, approximately 20-30 minutes. Add cheese on top, melt and serve.
